Designed as a party-sized pre-mixed that's loaded with the flavours associated with Christmas time, making it ideal for hosting a holiday party. Reserve the remaining cordial you can use for morning drinks, sweets, or for additional servings of the drink.
The Bikini Cocktail
Makes enough for 10 guests
Ingredients for the Citrus Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
Ingredients for the Cocktail (makes 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml citrus syrup (as made above)
Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Instructions
Making the Syrup: Put every components inside a saucepan, heat until it reaches a simmer, agitating until the sugar dissolves. Next, turn off the burner allowing it to reach room temperature fully. Decant into an clean bottle, seal keeping it in the fridge, it will last for up to one month.
For the Cocktail Base: Mix the specified liquids in a large bottle, leave to sit for an hour, then pass it through preferably using a fine cloth, making it fully clarified.
When ready to serve: Measure 85ml of the premix into a cocktail shaker filled with ice, gently stirring gently for about 60 seconds to chill. Strain to a frosted cocktail glass or a similar vessel, garnish with some cranberries adding the final touch using a light spray of the essential oil above the glass.
